What I was? What I am

Good Morning fellow bloggers,

It has been a while since I have submitted an entry, but I have been busy living my life & handling some issues with my family. It has been difficult for me to handle my 16 yr old son & I have been really missing my 18 yr old son. My daughters & I have been having some sharp growing pains & I am still working both jobs & trying to take care of my mom & Marley in between. I still have not heard from grad school & I get lonely ever so often. But, I have to tell you with every bump that I hit along my journey, I gain strength & wisdom. So with all this strength & wisdom I have obtained, I want to share with you all my latest poem:

I use to be weak, now I am strong
I use to be naive, now I am wise
I use to be willing to settle, now I am aggressive
I use to be submissive, now I am boisterous
I use to be chunky, now I am fit
I use to be an enabler, now I am an inhibitor
I use to be frumpy, now I am polished
I use to be mundane, now I am extraordinary
I use to be docile, now I am implacable
I have always been opinionated, outspoken, loving, helpful & determined.
I continue to evolve & refine my character, body & soul.
I am a work in progress, I am real, I am positive & I will never stop pushing or going forward!
I am ME!

So as you can see I am not who I use to be. I am not where I need to be but, I am slowly getting there.  As each day goes by & I conquer each task, overcome each situation-> I become stronger, wiser,  more aggressive, boisterous, physically  & mentally capable & for this I am grateful to God!
